This policy explains what personal information Green Power Utilities Ltd collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
Who we are
Green Power Utilities Ltd is the data controller for the information described here. We are registered in England & Wales, company number 15664511, registered office 45 Gwenbrook Avenue, Beeston, Nottinghamshire, NG9 4BA.

What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through the quote form:
- Your name
- Your phone number and email address
- The postcode of the property, and the type and approximate size of the job
- Any photographs you upload of the area to be surfaced
- Anything else you write in the message field
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or any non-essential cookies on this website, and we do not build a profile of your browsing.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use these details solely to prepare your quote, to contact you about it, and — if you go ahead — to plan and carry out the work. The lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and then performing that contract.
We will not use your details for marketing without asking you separately first, and we never sell or rent them to anyone.
Who sees it
Your enquiry is emailed to us and handled by our own staff. Three service providers process it on our behalf purely in the course of delivering it to us:
- Vercel — hosts this website and receives the form submission.
- Resend — turns that submission into an email and delivers it.
- Microsoft 365 — our email provider, which stores the resulting message.
We may also share relevant details with a supplier or subcontractor where that is genuinely necessary to quote or complete your job. We do not disclose your information to anyone else unless we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to work, we keep it for up to 24 months in case you come back to us, then delete it. If we do carry out work for you, we keep the job record for six years after the end of the contract, which is the period we need it for tax, insurance and warranty purposes.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- have inaccurate information corrected
- ask us to delete it, where we have no continuing need to keep it
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it
- ask us to transfer it to you or another provider

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
